ROD: Kingfisher Rod Co. , "The Nomad" 6. 25' 2 piece split cane brook trout fly rod in Sharpe's impregnated cane, lined butt ring, snake intermediates whipped burgundy, bronze ferrule, wood stopper, keeper ring, line rate 3-4, 6. 5" shaped cork handle with rosewood/alloy reel seat, new and unused in MOB. One of the last from the Kingfisher Rod Co. , hand built trout fly rods using Sharpe's of Aberdeen original split bamboo material.

REELS: (3) A scarce Milward Flycraft 3" bronze anodised fly reel in as new condition, 2 screw drum latch, black handle, a scarce J Sharpe of Aberdeen 3-. 25" war time style alloy dry fly reel with black finish casing and bright drum, fixed check, smooth brass foot and a Uniqua style 3. 25" diameter alloy fly reel, 2 screw drum latch, black finish casing, bright drum, all work well.
ROD: Rare Pezon et Michel for Farlow's "Ritz Super Parabolic HP Fario Club" 8'5" 2 piece with spare tip (repaired), split cane trout fly rod, otherwise as new condition, line rate 5, snake guides whipped green/tipped red, bronze ferrule, keeper ring, 8" cork handle over burgundy anodised reel seat, fine, in MOB.

ROD: The D M M-W Rod No 3 Brown Trout 8'3" 2 piece split cane staggered ferrule rod, dated 1978, red agate butt & tip guides, low bridge intermediates, burgundy gossamer silk with invisible intermediates, bronze ferrule, 7" cork handle over wood and alloy screw reel seat, hand written legend to butt blank, line 4/5 unused, no bag. Hand built by D M Macer-Wright when he was Head River Keeper for the Littlecote fishery on the River Kennet. His father was D Macer-Wright, author and retired river keeper, columnist for the Field, Country life, Countryman & Trout & Salmon magazines.
