A Fabulous 19th Century Porcelain & Gilt Bronze Clock Garniture Set. The rectangular clock having a domed pediment surmounted by an urn finial cascading fruit with birds either side. The porcelain side panels painted with bouquets of flowers on a cobalt blue ground with further gilded floriate embellishments. The garniture urns painted with knights in armour on one side and bouquets of flowers on the other. The exuberant gilt bronze mounts incorporating voluted scrolls festooned in garlands & husk flowers with scrolling serpent handles and winged griffin monopods supporting the clock, 17 ins (43 cms) in height.

Lot 7

A Fabulous Porcelain & Gilt Bronze Clock Set. The lyre shaped clock surmounted by crossed flambeau & quiver encompassed by a floral wreath festooned with chains of laurel leaves & beading. The gilt mounts strikingly displayed against the rich deep blue glaze of the porcelain. The gridiron pendulum having a ring of paste brilliants encircling the painted enamel dial with gilt lyre-shaped hands and fleur-de-lys pointers. The oval pedestal raised on engine turned feet, 20 ins (51 cms) in height. The garnitures in the form of urns swagged with garlands from rams head mounts raised on three hoofed monopods. The urns issuing a mass of scrolling gilt rose branches with candle cups amongst the buds, blooms and foliage, 17½ ins (44 cms) in height.

After Carrier. A 19th Century Golden Brown Patinated Bronze Figure of Winged Cherub sat on a rocky outcrop gently tending a dove perched beside him 9½ ins (24 cms) in height. The base signed Carrier and measuring 11 ins x 5 ins (28 cms x 13 cms).

A Dark Patinated Bronze Allegorical Figure Group with Orithyia carried off by the winged figure of Boreas representing the north wind depicted with outblown cheeks above a round base with scrolling clouds. Raised on a gilded guilloche banded stand with beaded edge and breakfront paterae feet, 24 ins (61 cms) in height.
