An Austrian cold painted bronze Orientalist table lamp by Bergman, modelled with two Arabs next to a mosque, the steps adorned with a rug with swords, a hookah, coffee pot, a beaker and a plate, the reverse stamped with 'B' in a vase and also inscribed 'Beng', late 19th century, 35.7cm high, 11.8cm wide, 10.8cm deep. See Joseph Zobel, Antique Vienna Bronzes, p.198 for an identical lamp with its canopy. Lot 383 – Bergman lamp. Unfortunately this isn’t in the best of condition with overall losses to the cold pained decoration. The tip of the minaret is missing and also the stem supporting the birds and the whole canopy is also missing. The seated figure is loose and needs re-fixing to the base. It is rather grubby and dirty with some old verdigris spots. There is no light fitting inside the minaret. Some old cracks and losses to the glass inserts inside the tower. This hasn’t been restored but needs some attention. Old marks and dents to minarets and overall the tower is a little loose. Some of the applied swords are a little loose.
Frederick W. Pomeroy (1856-1924). A late Victorian bronze relief double portrait rondel, of J. D. Sedding and his wife Rose, , 15.7cm diameter, and a gilt bronze relief portrait bust of Zavier Sigaloni by Preault, signed and dated 'AUG 1830', with suspension ring, 16.7cm diameter. (2) Provenance: the collection of Ralph Holland (1917-2012), art historian. John Dando Sedding (1838-1891) was an English Church Architect and an influential figure of the Arts and Crafts movement. He and his wife Rose died withing a few weeks of each other in 1891. The original memorial by Harry Wilson and Pomeroy was in St. Andrew'sHolborn. The church was largely detroyed in the Second World War. Lot 388 - A bronze plaque of the Seddings. The surface with some old dust in the crevices and minor verdigris spotting to the left side. Some small hairlines to the edge of the plaque visible. General surface wear and minor wear to high points. The preault; a little grubby in the crevices, minor dents to the end of the plaque. Small marks and dents to the portrait.

A pair of French gilt bronze twin light candelabra,19th century, modelled with central fluted columns with floral tops, on spreading stiff leaf and lobed stepped bases, the fluted arms emitting from the columns terminating with swag moulded drip pans and sconces, 23.5cm high(2) CONDITION REPORT: overall in good condition, gilding is lightly rubbed in places consistent with age
After Donatello, Italian c.1386-1466, a filled bronze model of the equestrian statue of Gattamelata, late 19th century, on a grey marble base, 60cm high (VAT charged on hammer price) Notes:The Equestrian Statue of Gattamelata was completed by the Renaissance artist Donatello and dates from 1453. It is located in the Piazza del Santo in Padua. It portrays the Renaissance mercenary Erasmo da Narni, known as Gattamelata, who fought mostly on the side of the Venetians in the 15th century. CONDITION REPORT: The surface patination is good, a bit dull, some areas where base metal is showing through, sword is lose, otherwise in sound condition

A Tiffany style bronze and leaded glass table lamp, second half 20th century, the Art Nouveau style base cast as lily pads and reeds, the multi-colour conical shade with floral design, the green ivy leaves overlayed with pierced brass to give the appearance of plique-a-jour, approx 58cm high, the shade approx 51cm diameter. CONDITION REPORT: Good overall condition with no faults noted.

After Dominique Alonzo, French fl.1912-1926, a gilt bronze and ivory figure of a female musician, on octagonal alabaster base, signed D. Alonzo to the bronze, approx 30cm excluding base. CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition. Little wear to the gilding, slightly dusty. Ivory a little grubby. Faint hairline to side of mouth and side of eye. Wire instrument strings detached at top.

CONDITION REPORT: Scratches & general wear, wear + tarnishing to interior. Some cracking to some of elephant ears.
