An attractive white porcelain bell made by the Koenigliche Porzellan Manufaktur (KPM) in Berlin as a commemorative piece for the famous 1936 Olympic Games held there.The bell is an official replica of the huge bronze bell in the Berlin Bell Tower and is decorated with 3rd Reich era emblems. One side depicts the German eagle clutching the five Olympic Rings while the other has the Brandenburg Gate. Written is “1-16 August 1936″ and “11.Olympische Spiele Berlin” and the Motto “Ich rude die Jugend der Weld” - “I call the youth of the world”. Est. £150 - £200
20th century AD. A bronze ceremonial kartika blade with lotus-flower handle, cage of four scrolled bars and conical spike above; the blade S-curved with hole to one edge. 331 grams, 19cm (7 1/2). From a central London collection formed between 1990-2000. The Kartika is a weapon symbolizing the severance of all material and worldly bonds and is commonly shown being held by Mahakala the Lord of Time, and the Dakinis, a group of Tantric female deities who help the devotee on the path to enlightenment. The top of the Kartika is decorated with a Vajra, or thunderbolt. Fine condition.

An undated archaistic hollow-cast bronze figure of Manjushri on a lotus-flower base with scrolled vegetation, sword in his raised right hand. 973 grams, 21cm (8 1/4). From a central London collection formed between 1990-2000. Manjushri is the Bodhisattva of compassionate wisdom, the raised sword representing the teachings of the Buddha that cut through ignorance. Fine condition.

A large sheet-bronze squat bowl with deep shoulder and waisted neck, rolled rim; band of reserved calligraphic text to the neck, scrolled vegetation and running beasts to the shoulder. 2.9 kg, 37.5 cm (14 3/4).
