A 19th Century French patinated bronze and ormolu cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the backplate detailed `BR Denier, A Paris 252`, the case surmounted with two brown patinated bronze figures of recumbent classical maidens, each holding an end of a flower festoon draped beneath the dial, the ormolu base cast and pierced with panels of musical instruments, trophies of war and foliate scrolls reserved against white marble back panels, above an egg and dart and guilloche moulded plinth and foliate scroll feet, height approx 33cm.
