A rare Tibetto-Chinese bronze rectangular box and base 17th/18th century, the cover with a figure possibly of Padmapani seated in rajalila, with a skull and a flask at her feet, the interior of an erotic scene with two figures, the male dressed in a loose cloth wearing dharmapala ornaments and a skull crown, with a kapala, a karrtrika and a ghanta scattered around, the cup from the female figure`s hand lacking, 17.5cm. A small Chinese Tang-style bronze figure, standing before a flaming mandala and raised on a high four-legged platform, the reverse with four columns of calligraphy, 18cm.
