This bronze was designed for the final Waterloo Cup meet in 2005, with five being made plus this example which is the only original artist's proof. The current vendor approached the Waterloo Cup Committee prior to the final running in 2005 to suggest that the first in the edition of five be given as a prize to the winner on such a historic occasion. The Committee agreed, and Clarissa Dickson-Wright presented the No.1 bronze to the winner. *CR Good, rich colour and condition appears excellent.
