Charles D'Orville Pilkington Jackson (1887-1973) Isadora Duncan dancing with cymbals Bronze, signed, 79cm high Note: A similar example was sold in these rooms at the Glencruitten House Sale, 6th September, 2003, Lot 689. Pilkington Jackson was a friend and colleague of Sir Robert Lorimer, undertaking commissions for Marchmont House Berwickshire and also the Morton Memorial at Darvel, Ayrshire (Hussey, plate 249)

Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy Mascot Believed Edwardian with 'Rolls-Royce' script around circumference of stepped base, full 'Charles Sykes' signature to top of base and 'Trade Mark Reg' under right hand wing. Silver plated bronze. Approx, 18cms. in height. The mascot comes with a report from the Birmingham Assay Office confirming that the plating is silver. It is also featured in an article in The Anchor News Report from The Birmingham Assay Office. It is believed this may have been some form of ''trials' or experimental mascot due to the non-standard markings and evidence of a number '2' etched into the underside of the hollow base. Good condition and mounted on plinth.

A late Regency bronze and gilt bronze mounted games box the cover decorated with chequered squares surmounted by a model of a recumbent hound, enclosing a removable two-division interior divider, the frieze with two pairs of seated hounds flanking a pineapple finial bounded by scrolling anthemia, the ends applied with swags, on a white marble base raised on four winged paw feet 23cm wide, 17cm high, 16cm deep
