A French gilt bronze and ivory figure, of a girl wearing a bonnet and dress, with Lehman foundry mark, on a marble base, 19 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by GH Generally grubby, some small chips and nibbles to foot-rim of base. Some discolouration and browning to gilt bronze, and some loss to gilt, particularly around the shoulders. Some very light cracking and ingrained dirt to ivory face.

Chinese 19th century bronze hand warmer with swing handle, of squat bulbous form, the circular flat lid pierced and carved with prunus blossom branches, stand CONDITION REPORT: Cleaning residue behind handles (at body) and also in prunus flowers on pierced lid. Some tiny pitted areas on body, one larger indentation c1mm x 3mm (?natural flaw) One small thin dint to left of handle and slightly larger dent to other side 5mm x 5mm. Stand has half of one foot missing
Small 19th century Chinese bronze censer of ding form with elephant handles, the body decorated in relief with flower panels and another two bronze censers, one with outswept upright handles, the other of low squat form, 9cm and 2 at 10cm (3) CONDITION REPORT: Small censer - flat 342g Small bronze censer - elephant handles 264g Small censer upright handles 362g Slight dent to top rim, mis-shapen. SLight dent to body (lower). SOme natural faults, residue of cleaning powder.
Bronze censer in the form of a peacock with champleve enamelled decoration to the censer "wing" covers and tail feathers, 33cm long CONDITION REPORT: Tail feathers have imperfections /slight losses to enamel. Slight repair (?) to textured bronze at joint of main tail to body (re-inforcement?) Slight bash to end of one tail feather. Censer cover (wings) has long crack to side of cenral area where the vent hole is. Slight bash to area on centre side of wing, slight imperfections/minor losses to the enamel. cover fits snugly. Joints at top of legs rather rough, surface of body slightly rough, in areas where cover touches there is slight loss of patina
Pair of Chinese early 20th century bronze gu shaped vases with wide flaring rim, the body flanked and with archaic palmate and tao-tie decoration, 22.5cm CONDITION REPORT: Slightly dirty, cleaning residue visible particularly at flanges Vase 1 Slight bash at footrim and silght pitting to open neck, slight surface scratching and slight rubbing to mid section of flaring neck. Vase 2 Vase foot rim is uneven with slight bashes, flaw/crack and two small holes in footrim, damage at top of first section of body - with surface damage to decoration

Late 18th century or early 19th century bronze censer of squat bulbous form raised on circular foot, lion mask handles, Xuande mark to base, 16.5cm CONDITION REPORT: The surface has a few small dints, one slightly larger shallow surface dent with slight long, thin dent ot the left of it c3mm max. Sticky label to base, above seal mark. Residue of cleaning around mask head handle and inside the bowl of the censer. Some small dints to surface of rim. Inner diameter - 113mm Outer diameter - 129mm Height - 7cm Total width - 16cms Weight - 818 grams
Early 19th century Chinese bronze censer of squat bulbous form raised on a circular foot, lion mask handles, 17cm wide and an elaborately carved and pierced domed wooden cover CONDITION REPORT: Lid - tiny natural (?) crack to rim edge, onw small end to a pierced scroll missing, otherwise good. Body - residue of cleaning to faux lionhead handles, appears to be no major damage or repairs, surface dents, base rim very slightly mis-shapen, slight dent on surface above one handle with the rim very slightly pushed down.

Early 19th century Chinese bronze censer of ding form with upswept straight loop handles, the body with relief decoration of tao-tie and animals on a diaper ground CONDITION REPORT: Handles appear straight, sits on three feet, supports appear straight. Some residue/verdigris on detail on body. Other wise good, natural faults on surface, slight dents including two to top rim and one to base. 23cm high and 19cm wide.
A Japanese ivory and bronze figure of a farmer, possibly by Hideyoshi, Meiji Period (1868-1912) The figure dressed in kimono and geta, with woven coney hat resting on his back, he has a basket brimming with fruits and vegetables over his shoulder, mounted on a carved wooden base, signed, 21cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Very small crack at top of head, approx 2mm long. Ivory dirty, right leg with hairline crack and possibly re-glued. Otherwise good.
A pair of Chinese polished bronze censers, Xuande seal mark Each of tapered bombe form, rising from a narrow base and terminating a folded upper rim, the exterior with good patination, relief seal mark to base, 8cm high, 16cm diam. (2) CONDITION REPORT: 912 grams in weight. Light scratches and wear marks to base and body. One example with small patches of rubbing to bronze.
A pair of Japanese bronze vases, late Meiji Period (1868-1912) Each of baluster form, rising from a domed and stepped base, the body extending to a flared rim, and flanked by twin elephant handle handles, the exterior sides cast in high relief with depictions of birds in blossom trees and three clawed dragoons reserved against traditional scroll grounds, 53cm high. Cyprien Godebski (Polish 1835-1909) a 19th Century bronze figure group 'La Force brutale étouffant le Génie' A bronze figure group after the original, modelled as a muscular scantily clad Zeus hold aloft a winged male nymph, standing on a rocky plinth base, inscribed C. Godebski, 93cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The figure is in good condition with no visible signs of significant damage or restoration. Linear marks visible to the 'raised' figures, right leg and right arms, difficult to be certain if this area has been restored or not. (Please refer to images.) Small imperfections to the leg areas also. (Please refer to images.) Provenance : Been in the same private estate for approximately 20 years. Prior to that its history is unknown. Please note there is not any documentary evidence with this lot.
A fine pair of French patinated bronze figures by Jean-Jacques Pradier (Swiss, 1790-1852) Each of the female figures finely cast in mirror image depicting two mythical maenads in dancing pose each draped in spring floral garlands , both dressed in short robes and dress in jewelled necklaces with one leg raised, each standing on a square plinth base scattered with flowers, signed 'Pradier' to base, 49cm high.
A beautiful French patinated bronze figure 'Triumphato', after Ernest Rancoulet (French 1870-1915) The finely cast model after the original, modelled as two winged putti one with bow and quiver of arrows on his back, with scrolling clouds under foot and raiased on a globe shaped base, further mounted on a circular plinth base with title plaque inscribed 'Triumphato', signed to base 'Rancoulet', 64cm high.
