William James Audsley (1833-1907) and George Ashdown Audsley (1838-1945) for W.M.H and G.H Dreaper - a rare Victorian Egyptian revival ebonised upright piano, circa 1880, the parcel gilt and scratch carved case with a folding music stand and fabric backed fretwork panels with Greek key borders, the keyboard flanked by a pair of shinxes over square columns with foliate carved cappings and a panelled footboard, the frame stamped 'Dreapers Patent L'Pool 4017/2642', the interior fall board with brass inlay inscribed 'WM.H. & G.H. Dreaper, 96 Bond Street Liverpool, inlaid medallions for the 1878 Paris Exhibition, 61" wide, 49" high. depth 25.5" - ** William James and George Ashdown Audsley were Scottish architects who practiced in Liverpool from about 1860 to 1883, designing many churches and public buildings. - ** A piano of this design was exhibited at the 1878 Paris Exposition Universelle where it was awarded a bronze medal - ** See this link for further similar reference

George Fiddes Watt (1873-1960) - Portrait study of an elderly woman, signed and dated 1900, oil on board, 13" x 10.25" - ** The artist was a Scottish portrait painter and engraver born in Aberdeen and studied at Gray's School of Art as well as at The Royal Scottish Academy, his most notable work being a portrait of H.H Asquith, AGA??? Balfour, the artist was sculpted by Henry Snell Gamley in 1912 and a bronze statue of Watt can be seen in Aberdeen sculpted in 1942 by Thomas Bayliss Huxley-Jones

A FRENCH LATE 19TH CENTURY MANTLE CLOCK the alabaster body with ormolu mounts and bronze maiden and cherub, the white dial with painted flowers swags and Arabic numerals, and retail name of Brook and Son, movement marked 610, 28cm long, together with a pair of candelabra garnitures (3) Condition Report: Has key but no pendulum. Dial has a small chip to enamel that has been repaired, bottom right of dial.

A BRONZE AND ORMOLU TABLE LIGHT of candelabra form with cut glass lustre drops, the body with Bacchus masks and swags, 59cm high, together with another table lamp hugn with cut glass lustre drops and with malachite chip and enamel base, 35cm high (2) Condition Report: Main light - one of the glass candle pillars is broken at the top. missing some lustre drops and chips to some others. One arm is a bit loose. a small hole in the metal base - please see images. Malachite light - . No issues. Both are tarnished to the gilt and will need re-wiring.
