A Chinese bronze censer modelled as a mythical beast with gilt highlights and applied beaded and stud decoration, height 20cm.Additional InformationGeneral surface wear throughout as one would expect, the left ear has been damaged, and is misshapen, the wings are crudely attached to the body and the decoration throughout is rather crude. Weight 1697.7g, the aperture is approx 4cm x 3cm.

There have not been any repairs to this piece.
A Chinese bronze censer with twin stylised dragon pierced handles, oval main body and raised on four scrolling feet with apocryphal Xuande seal mark to the base, length 25.5cm.Additional InformationThere is a protrusion of metal to the inside around where one of the legs is attached but this appears to have been during manufacture, general surface wear throughout as one would expect with heavier wear to the interior of the bowl. The piece is certainly no later than 19th century, it comes from a good source and could possibly be 18th century. Weight approx 1380g.
SEIKOZAN; a fine Japanese Meiji period Satsuma ewer of bronze form, the gilt handle above floral decorated lid and three bands of exquisite painted decoration, the upper with children playing, the main panel with continuous lake landscape and the lower with gilt heightened abstract plaques, signed with gold painted seal to base, height 11cm, length 11cm. Provenance: ex-Haas collection. Additional InformationHandle off and glued or a new handle has been applied, clumsy gilt decoration where the handle meets the main body, this is a pity as it is an exceptional piece. Otherwise with just minor gilt rubbing.
