ARR Erica Lee, FRBS, 1888-1981, a life size bronze head of a young lady, signed, on a square marble plinth base, 34cm high. Erica Lee was a prolific sculptor, known for her figurative studies. Her work was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition over thirty times between 1930 and 1960. Provenance: This was inherited directly from the family of the sculptor Rosamund Mary Beatrice Fletcher, (1908-1993) with whom Erica Lee was friends and it is likely that this was gifted to her by the artist during her lifetime
