A near pair of Japanese patinated bronze vases, Meiji period, of shouldered, tapering form decorated in high relief with chickens, flowers, blossom and bamboo, 24cm high, and a pair of Japanese, Meiji period, polished bronze vases of twin handled, baluster form, each decorated in bas relief with six floral roundels, 18cm high. Samuel Parker jnr (active 1819-1848) a small bronze library bust of King William IV 1831. Sam Parker 'bronzist' of Argyll Street supplied bronze lamps to George IV and made medals for the King. This small published bronze of William IV was sold at various outlets for a guinea. A nice example, fully inscribed verso.

Marti et Cie, Medaille De Bronze` and numbered 4438, 16cm wide x 26.5cm high
