SEBAS BRAU (Barcelona, 1972)."Balancers with chairs".Bronze, brass and wood.Exemplary 1/8.Signed.Measurements: 18cm X 5cm x 5cm x 5cm.Sebastià Brau studied in the Superior School of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Goods of Catalonia. He complemented his formation in the school of applied arts and artistic crafts, of sculpture, enamels and jewelry. He also took courses in forging and molds at the Can Xatarra workshop school. He participates in several editions of the Festival of sculpture and marble of Saint Beat. Holds a solo exhibition at the Hotel Atenea Apart Hotel in Barcelona and participates in group exhibitions of small sculpture in the gallery Arte Siesta in Barcelona. He participates in competitions of rapid ice sculpture in pairs, being awarded in two consecutive years with first prize. He currently combines his sculptural creation with the production of molds for various artists and with the elaboration of sculptural and industrial prototypes for different brands. His deep knowledge of modeling and jewelry techniques forged in him a particularly exquisite way of approaching sculpture, with the craft of the most meticulous craftsman. His workshop is a magical stage on which appear tightrope walkers, acrobats, comedians, and dreamers of all kinds. His characters are lyrical transpositions of our desire to defy gravity, to escape from the prosaic inertia to which we are submerged by our daily obligations. They always travel above or below the common people, aspiring to the highest flights, mimicking the birds, but also diving like sea creatures in the depths of the ocean. In their mixture of refinement and ingenuity, the variety show, fables and the cultured literary tradition converge in them, becoming popular geniuses, expressions of collective concerns.

MIGUEL BERROCAL (Villanueva de Algaidas, Málaga, 1933 - Antequera, Málaga, 2006)."Dove Jet - Opus 143"Bronze sculpture, copy 398/2000.Signed and justified in the tail.Measurements: 24 x 42 x 22 cm.Berrocal initiates his formation in the School of Arts and Trades of Madrid, being a student of Ángel Ferrant. He then went on to the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando, where he was a disciple of Ramón Stolz. He complemented his training with his work as a draftsman in the studio of the architect Casto Fernández Shaw and as an assistant to several architects in Rome between 1952 and 1954. During his stay in Paris, in 1955, he finally decided to devote himself to sculpture. His early works show the influence of Chillida, while denoting his preference for articulated and detachable forms in bronze. The difficulty involved in making each of his sculptures motivated his decision to make them in series. With this idea in mind, he produces two hundred copies of the sculpture "Maria de la O", for which he received the prize for sculpture at the Paris Biennale and which was later acquired by the MOMA in New York. In 1966 he settled permanently in Verona, and since 1968 he has alternated his work between monumental and small-format works. He was the founder of the Multicétera Society together with several gallery owners, the first industry of small sculptures. He has exhibited in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the United States, received the gold medal of the Bronze of Padua, the grand prize of honor of the Biennial of Brazil, and was named Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government. He has sculptures in public places in Korea, Bordeaux, Denmark and Switzerland, as well as in various parts of Spain. He is represented in the Museums of Modern Art in New York and Paris, the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, the Kunsthalle in Hamburg, the Juan March Foundation in Madrid, the National Gallery in Rome and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

He exhibited for the first time in 1976, and since then he has had numerous exhibitions, as well as several important monuments. He has exhibited in Spain, Holland, Portugal, Belgium, United States, France, Italy and China. He is represented at the Palace of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the Círculo del Liceo in Barcelona, the Provincial Museum of La Rioja, the La Cour d'Or in Mezt (France), the Catalan Institute of Women, the Miniature Museum of Contemporary Art in Amsterdam, the General Motors Collection in Detroit, the Chacao Foundation in Caracas, the New Airport and the KEE Club in Hong Kong, and the Almada Museum in Lisbon, among other centers.

Exemplary 753/999.Signed and justified.Measurements: 24 x 30 x 19 cm.Son of the actor Anthony Quinn, this sculptor grew up between the United States and Italy, being in this last country where he learned to appreciate art. At the age of twenty-one, he earned the respect of New York's artistic society by creating a work for the United Nations, a work that gave him the impetus to star in the much-lauded Absolut Vodka advertising campaign, for which the world's most acclaimed artists are selected. Shortly thereafter, he received an important commission from the Vatican, which commissioned him to create a sculpture of the saint on the occasion of the 8th Centenary of the Death of St. Anthony. Quinn has held exhibitions on five continents, and his work is present at major art fairs around the world. He has also created several public works, in cities such as London, Birmingham and Sant Climent de Llobregat (Barcelona).
