A Gien pottery vase, late 19th Century, of waisted cylindrical form, the turquoise glazed body applied in relief with a purple glazed chilong with trailing tail between yellow and blue glazed Chinese style lappet bands, the foot and rim with bronze chinoiserie mounts, blue printed mark to base, height approx 40cm (converted into lampbase).

A Chinese Bronze Hu form Vase and Cover, Han dynasty (206BC-220AD) with a broad ovoid body and a short foot, the neck slightly flaring outwards, the shallow domed cover flush fitting, the sides with loose mask and ring handles, the body plain with an incised ring at the top, the cover with moulded decoration of four ju i form stylized lappets on a diaper pattern ground with a repeating geometric design.
