@12 bottles Chateau Le Brule 2007 Medoc AC, Prop. JM Lagune and B. Bordagaray. Winner of a Bronze medal in 2009 at the prestigious Concours des Grand Vins de France awards. A good example of a Medoc that could be drunk now or kept to mellow and soften the bold tannins. Keeping potential until 2022.
France, Hubert Le Sueur (c.1580-c.1658/68), Sculptor, oval cast bronze portrait medal, 1635, by Claude Warin, bust right with ruff collar, rev sun shines on peaceful landscape, 74 x 55mm (BMC [Jones] II, 299), integral suspension loop. An old aftercast, very fine. Le Sueur spent much of his career in England, working from 1626 for Charles I, and his most famous work is the 1633 equestrian statue of the king looking down Whitehall from Trafalgar Square.

A Japanese Bronze Figure of a Cockerel, the bird stands upright with head raised alertly as it strides across a farmyard mound upon which omodaka plants are growing. the head and wattle highlighted in red, it bears a cast signature panel which appears to read Masatsune tsukuru 58cm high including base, Meiji period (late 19th - early 20th century)
