Breast Badge, 35x28 mm, gilt Bronze, enameled, separately made and applied center medallions with fine detail, suspension with stylized palms, grooved ribbon ring, with fine, very old ribbon. An interesting piece from the time of the Carlist Wars (1830) in very fine condition. An identical piece which originally belonged to General Giovanni Durando (later commander of one division of the Sardinian Army in Crimea, 1855), is on display at the Historical Museum of Vicenza (Italy). Rare Riachuelo Medal for the Troops, instituted in 1865 Breast Badge, 43x26 mm, patinated Bronze, obverse Pedro II to the left, surrounded by a wreath of tobacco and coffee leaves, legend "PETRUS II DG CONST. IMP. ET PERP. BRAS. DEF. 1865 "on reverse" COMBATE NAVAL DO RIACHUELO" surrounding a trophy made of a cannon and an anchor resting on a palms and laurel crown, in the center a shield with the date "11 DE JUNHO DE 1865", surmounted by an articulated imperial crown, by the mint of Brazil.
