Dsf 1872Touts petits manques Ayant exposé aux salons de Paris, Berlin, Vienne, Düsseldorf, Munich, Londres, Normann y obtient divers marques de son talent, dont une mention honorable en 1884. De même, sa participation à l’exposition universelle de 1889 lui vaut une médaille de Bronze. Comme le suggèrent la date et la signature de notre tableau, celui-ci est probablement une œuvre de jeunesse, réalisée lors de l’apprentissage de l’artiste à Düsseldorf, où il demeure entre 1869 et 1873.
