A French Empire ormolu and patinated bronze small figural mantel timepiece with musical stand The timepiece movement signed for Ville, Paris, early 19th century Fitted with a single fusee watch type movement with verge escapement regulated by sprung monometallic three-arm balance set beneath finely pierced and sculpted bridge applied to the backplate with regulation disc and engraved signature Ville a Paris to upper margin, with a gilt Roman numeral dial with concentric ring-turned matted centre and blued steel hands within milled bezel, in a case cast with gilt standing female Bacchant beside rocky outcrop cast with fruiting vines containing the movement applied with pan pipe and wine flagon crest and with vine entwined staff resting to the opposing side, the plinth base fronted with twin lion and festoon vine cast mount to front over repeating lappet leaf cast moulded skirt and leafy rose bloom feet, standing on a D -ended mahogany plinth containing a pull-wound musical movement playing a choice of two airs via a 2.5 inch pinned cylinder and multi-section steel comb set beside standing barrel drive with stopwork to cap on a polished brass bedplate stamped with serial number 5738 to leading edge, the front with brass levers and inset mother-of-pearl panel inscribed Changer and Jouer, the right hand side with pull-wing cord, on bun feet and with channelled upper surface to take the glass dome cover, the clock 27.5cm (11.75ins) high; 35cm (13.75ins) overall including glass dome cover.

A Stuart Turner model beam engine, the central column supporting beam with bronze bearings, brass oiler cups, parallel motion and having single wooden clad cylinder with outside steam valve, eccentric linkage to crank, steam inlet control valve, speed governor with shut-off control at steam valve, spoken flywheel 18cm in diameter and small fitted pulley wheel. The model mounted on simulated brick-work plinth with fitted handrails. Plinth 45cm by 28cm. Total height 32cm.

RUDOLPH WINDER, (Austrian, born 1842), bronze model of a family of bears on naturalistic, oval, stepped base, signed: R. Winder, 1877. 30cm wide, 20cm deep, 21cm high.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall looks in good shape with no obvious nasty dents or losses, the velvet oval base is detached from the item, surface wear, scratches, minor dings, as expected.

MICHEL ANGE POLLET, (1815-1870), pair of patinated bronze figures of pensive Roman soldiers, seated and upon tall stepped plinths with scrolled lyre front panels and egg and dart bands, signed: 'Michel Ange', 47cm high approx. (2)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Both have some minor surface wear but appear to show no notable damage.
Aviation, Rare 1930s Schneider Trophy miniature, surmounted with a sculpture of silver plated bronze depicting a Zephyr skimming the waves and a nude winged figure kissing Zephyr recumbent on a breaking wave flanked by two other Zephyrs and of Neptune. The symbolism representing speed conquering the elements of sea and air. The ebonised wooden base mounted with seven plated plaques to the sides detailing names of the winning teams 'High-Speed Flight - Royal Air Force 1927, 1929, 1931' and 'International Schneider Trophy won outright by Vickers Super Marine Rolls-Royce S.6B 1931'. The trophy 14cm wide x 11cm deep x 12cm high. The Schneider Trophy was first awarded annually and then bi-annually to the winner of a race for seaplanes and flying boats. It was held twelve times between 1913 and 1931 to encourage technical advances in aviation. The Rolls-Royce engined S.6B broke the world speed record twice and won the trophy outright, being the first aircraft to break the 400mph barrier . This example was presented to Charles BRIGSTOKE CB, Director of Contracts, The Air Ministry. Some damage to R/h wing and wear to edges of wooden plinth, makers button " Skinner & Co Silversmiths 34 Old Bond St", present on securing bolt hole in base .
