A large and impressive Japanese bronze group of a trumpeting elephant being attacked by two tigers, signed Morimitsu, Meiji period: naturalistically cast , the ivory-tusked mammal with one tiger clambering on its back, the other attacking its raised left leg, the tigers with low relief striped markings, signed in a rectangular reserve, lacks tusks, 74cm. high, 87cm. long.

A Minton parian figure group of Prince Alfred: modelled after the original by Baron Carlo Marochetti with the young Prince in highland garb stood beside his pony, on a captioned rustic base, impressed 'Published by Minton & Co., C. Marochetti, circa 1862, 41 cm high, [repair to neck and one rear leg].*Notes - The original bronze of this group is still in the Royal Collection at Osborne House.
