A RARE 18TH CENTURY CHINESE QIANLONG PERIOD OFFICIAL CHINESE BRONZE SEAL, with traces of gilding, dated 1749/1750, one side inscribed October in the 14th year of the Ching Emperor Qianlong, the other side with the number 2461, the top edge inscribed Li Bu Zao being a Works Ministry in the Forbidden City, 2.25in square & 3.6in long.(see Lot 252 19th May 2010 Wooley & Wallis for a very similar seal also dated 1750).
