Additional InformationGeneral age wear rubbing to the gilt surface throughout and grubby throughout also. Lacking liner. General rubbing and nicks tot he edges of the marble, and there is a chip to the back left corner.

An Art Deco bronzed spelter figure of a maiden, in the manner of Demetre Chiparus, on onyz base, height 40cm. Additional InformationThe right hand is detached and will need fixing back in to position. The face and stomach are a composition, the hands and feet are a painted metal. The head has been broken off and glued back, but some time ago. General wear to the bronze effect, and cracking and wear to the feet and hands. The base with some general small nicks.

Lacking kabuto-gane (pommel). Blade showing original patina and surface corrosion to one side, the other polished. Sharp edge bitten towards the tip. Surface rust to nakago. Grip fish skin beginning to lift and separate at the joint with small losses to the other side. Fuchi is loose.
