A 19th century brass and copper ewer in high Italian Renaissance style: high arched strap handle above a baluster-shaped body with copper band depicting bathing figures and attendants in low relief, raised upon circular slightly spreading black marble foot (50.5 cm high). * Condition: Good condition overall. Some wear to patination to the bronze to the edges and raised detail from handling. No cracks, losses or signs of repair. There is one tiny indent to the surface of the bronze, just to the left of the front mask mount. The base has some chips and nibbles from the lower edge and a little light scratching. The ewer stands straight and firm on the base. The rim has heavy red candlewax residue.

The support of the clock is made of gilded bronze, in the center is a praying angel and on top of the clock is a malachite cross.
