The following three lots are from the Estate of the late Peter Leggatt MBE: A framed painting of a bird upon a rectangular ivory panel, coloured in browns, blues and greens, frame inlaid with geometric patterns, panel height 9 cm, a bronze seated Buddha, hands held open, height 20 cm, a carved hard wood temple lion, holding a ball, upon carved stand, width 20 cm, together with a quantity of Indian brass, copper and bronze items, (a lot).
John Erskine Milne 1931-1978- Untitled, abstract figure study; a rare lithograph, signed and numbered 2/10 in pencil, the full sheet with margins, unexamined out of the frame, apparently very good condition, 33x23cm, (unframed) Note: Sculpture in bronze, wood, aluminium and stone. Born In Eccles, Lancashire. Attended the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, in Paris, and for two years he was a pupil of Barbara Hepworth and her assistant.
