George VI Cheshire Special Constabulary Medal, being the bronze Faithful Service in the Special Constabulary medal awarded to “JOHN BATTERS” housed in the original forwarding box marked Cheshire; George VI bronze Faithful Service in the Special Constabulary medal awarded to “JOHN LEE”; George V bronze Faithful Service in the Special Constabulary medal awarded to “WILLIAM WAUD”; George V bronze Faithful Service in the Special Constabulary medal with Great War service bar awarded to “HERBERT I SMITH” and a St Johns Ambulance medal with service bar engraved to the rim “10763 / H N / M FLORENCE PREECE WARWICK 1959”. WW1 Medal Pair Lancashire Fusiliers / Labour Corps, consisting of British War and Allied Victory medals awarded to “32214 PTE J WASS LAN FUS”. Medals are complete with ribbons, bronze MID oak leaf mounted to Victory medal ribbon. Accompanied by flattened original card forwarding box. His MIC card states later service with the Labour Corps, we have not been able to confirm the MID.
Framed Great War Medal Pair and Bronze Memorial Plaque, the medals consist of British War medal and Allied Victory medals awarded to “53841 PTE B W WILSON M.G.C”, bronze memorial plaque awarded to “FRANK MORLEY”. Mounted into a glazed wooden frame with a Machine Gun Corps cap badge, Suffolk regiment cap badge and a photograph of a WW1 soldier in the Suffolk regiment. Commonwealth War Graves Commission lists multiple casualties with the name Frank Morley.
