A rare bronze southeast Asian bodhisattva . 18th cent. Or earlier. Probably Indonesia or Cambodia. Patina of bronze Is deep orange, due to age, with red, green and black inclusions. 2 of the right arms are missing. It seems, that there is an old repair and soldering under the knees. size 26x7.3 cm

An antique, Chinese, cloisonné archaic style pot. Early Qing dyn. The model to this pot is based on Zho archaic bronze vessel. The heavy pot has a phoenix head spout with four legs, depicting phoenix heads as well. The lid has a bronze lion finial beautifully done, with cloisonné scrolls at the bottom of the lid. The main body depicting archaic taotie, flowers and lotus petals. signed . size 33x22 cm.

The head is well potted, displaying serene face with downcast eyes and a elongated ears . The Buddha ushnisha displaying a flame at the top, as typical of the period. In the forehead set between the eyes, there is a cavity, were once a precious stone was probably set. losses to neck due to age. an age crack at the back of the left ear. Fine old, wooden stand. an antique, Chinese- Tibetan bodhisattva in the mudra of subduing Mara, in the style of the Ming dyn., but probably, Qing. The bodhisattva is covered in, what seems to be, a very old gilded copper color lacquer layer, showing the old bronze under the lacquer. at the crown there are losses at the left and right hand side. a crack on the right hand, floral laurite. on the left hand side of the base and right leg there are losses , due to age, metal fatigue to the base. the eyes were probably inlaid with silver, now the silver is missing. size 28x16.5x10 cm
An outstanding, antique, rare, Thai, walking bronze Buddha. 17th cent. Ayuthia period. Such items are incredible rare this days. The Buddhas' face and body are of a young man, correlating to very early models of the Buddha. In his face we can see the typical serene expression of the Gupta period , of the 6-8th cent., above his ushinsha, unlike the Gupta period, there is a flame. His right hand side longer than ordinary size hand, reaching to his knee and typical to his period. His left hand is in the preaching mudra, and he is wearing the typical attire to his period: a long robe, attached to his left hand, keeping his right shoulder bare. There is a crack to the right leg and the left leg has an old repair. there is a partial loss at the back of the base, another crack to the left side. A very rich, deep, brown patina with green inclusions. size 38x10x cm
An unusual, antique, southeast Asian, big, bronze bodhisattva, probably Khmer or Thai or of the region. Probably 19th cent. Portraying Avalokitesvara, bodhisattva of compassion of all Buddhas. Depicted as a young man wearing a short, old style sampot, with a tall royal style ushnisha. The bronze is covered with a thick old layer of lacquer, with some incrustation mostly around the head, with the lacquer is missing. Standing on an old wooden base. The facial expression seems more Khmer. Coming from an old collection from USA. Size net 68x20 cm, with the base 84 cm
A fine, lovely, gilded, Sino-Tibetan bronze Manjushree. Qing dyn., probably, early 19th cent. He is holding a sward in his right hand. His left hand in the teaching mudra, above his left hand- a lotus flower with a book of sutras. Seated in the lotus position. The sward is attached to the head. At the back of the head- traces of blue pigment. Fine, old gilding, and a beautiful depiction of the bodhisattva. losses of gilt and wear , as expected with age. size 12x11 cm
An antique, gilded, Chinese, small, bronze censer. Qing dyn. The censer has a Daoguang reign mark (1821-1850 ) and , probably, of the period. Standing on 3 legs Signs of wear and use. A lot of the gilding had worn off. At the places, were there is no gilding, deep red patina and some green incrustation. At the base red, black and green patina. Size 6.8x11 cm.
A pair of antique Chinese beautiful, well carved cinnabar vases. Republic period. The gourd shaped vases are carved out of natural cinnabar. The body of the vase is made of enameled and gilded bronze. One , top part portraying a teacher and a disciple, on both sides, walking in the garden. bottom part, on one side depicting 2 scholars playing chess, on the other side, a sage with a disciple, crossing a bridge. The other vase , at the top, the disciple pointing at the rocks to his teacher, on the other side, the disciple is carrying a musical instrument and talking with his teacher. At the bottom part, sage and disciple walking in the garden. The other side depicting 2 young scholars playing chess. Size each 31.5x14 cm
