Constantine I (The Great) `Globe on Altar` AE Follis - Bronze 322-323 AD Obverse: CONSTAN-TINVS AVG, laureate bust right, wearing imperial matle and holding eagle-tipped sceptre. Reverse: BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS, globe on altar inscribed VO - TIS - XX in three lines, three stars above, mintmark PTR.
A pair of gilt bronze and white marble mounted portrait medallions depicting King George III and Queen Charlotte, late 18th/early 19th century, the reliefs recessed within circular reserves, the raised borders with applied rope-twist mounts and conforming suspension rings, 13cm diameter. Provenance: Apsley Estates, Hampshire.
A French patinated bronze urn and cover, last quarter 19th century, the spherical finial of the circular lid cast with a lizard, above spreading leaves, the body of the urn cast in high relief with an encircling serpent amongst foliage, with conforming socle and circular foot, the lid interior inscribed `A Giroux` for the retailer Alphonse Giroux of Paris, 19cm high. Provenance: Property of a Lady of Title.

Don Bradman - Century of Centuries Commemorative cricket plate c. 1979 - Coalport bone china ltd ed plate of only 500, decorated with a central portrait and players details c/w facsimile signature to the base overall 9" in original makers box together with a similar commemorative mounted bronze plaque (2). Note: Bradman’s batting career average (95.14) and Test average (99.94) both of which have never been challenged. Bradman played 52 Test matches for Australia between 1928 and 1948. He made 117 first-class centuries in his career.
Fine collection of 1920s Official Motor Cycling Club Time Trial gold, silver and bronze medals – won by W D Pugh from 1922 – 1926 to incl 5x 9ct gold medals, 3 silver hallmarked medals and 1 bronze medal for London to Edinburgh, London – Land`s End, London – Exeter- London, and Ealing & District MCC London – Holyhead – all profusely embossed and engraved with winners details plus a pair of M.C.C 9ct gold cufflinks awarded One Day Trial in 1922 – all mounted on a board and comes with photstat copies of the Motor Cycle Magazine featuring each of the above racing events and results (11). Note: the gold content weighs just over 70g wt.
Rare Suzanne Lenglen signed tennis collection to incl 5x original glass photographic lawn tennis plates (5 x 4 inches) all showing Lenglen playing at her last Wimbledon Championships of 1926 ((Digital hard copy prints included). Three of them show her in acrobatic poses on Centre Court in doubles play with her partner Elizabeth Ryan. The other two show her at 3 p.m. on Monday 2st. June 1926 at the Jubilee Wimbledon Championships. Both plates record her being kneeling before H. M. King George V and Queen Mary, being presented with her silver and bronze commemorative medals. Also included in this lot is a very rare Chaplin Jones (Kingston-Thames) published postcard autographed “Suzanne Lenglen” in her usual idiosyncratic style.
