A fine pair of Chinese cloisonne ewers, incised Qianlong six - character, 19th Century The gilt bronze body of each in baluster form, each flanked by a cast and enamelled five - clawed dragon, forming the handle and a wide scooped spout. The vibrant turquoise ground detailed with two red enamelled scaley dragons each in pursuit of the flaming pearl, set before fire scrolls, ruyi borders and peony flower heads, 29cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 9 - 830g (approx 26ozs)Overall good and noticeable patination and verdigris to interior well.Possible re-gilding to the gilt areas, as appears very fresh.The bronze has previously been patinated or over painted, as appears to be flaking loss.Small loss to the spout, approx 0.5cm in size.Small shallow loss to footrim.Scuffing and wear to underside of footrim and base.
