A 1909 Hudson-Fulton celebration gilt bronze medallion Produced by the American Numismatic Society in commemoration of the discovery of the Hudson River by Henry Hudson and the first use of steam navigation on the Hudson River by Robert Fulton; together with a quantity of correspondence from The Hudson River Maritime Museum, The Mariners Museum and The J. Some undoubtedly are sixteenth century, but others may be nineteenth; what they all have in common is a high quality of casting and finishing.
