dating: third quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Berlin, Beautiful, smooth, 13 mm cal. barrels of fine damask, one twisted toward the left, the other toward the right, the tangs en suite, both barrels provided with rib, silver foresight with gilt frame, tangs chiselled with trophies within gilt rocaille and assembled without visible screw; flintlocks, entirely chiselled with trophies and rocaille on gilt background, wooden full stocks, sculpted with rocaille, gilt bronze mounts decorated with rocaille and trophies, female portraits at the butt-plates. Horn-tipped wooden ramrods. Probably manufactured for a member of the court. length 37 cm.

Hi decorated with a long dragon on one side, engraved and gilded on a dark ground, two thin hi on the other side at the base. Bronze habaki. Nakago mei 'Hizen Koku Ju Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro' with one mekugi ana. Koshirae with big, iron tsuba, decorated with silver floral motifs and with four hearts in the brass-plated corners. Fuchi decorated en suite in silver, missing menuki and kashira. Long, wooden grip coverd with same and beige tsuka. Wooden saya, lacquered in brown with golden mon in a shape of flower. Iron mounts decorated en suite with tsuba and Fuchi. Small damages and parts missing. length 108 cm.

Koshirae with iron, circular tsuba with thin, gold-inlaid spirals; fuchi-kashira in shakudo with gilded elements in relief; partially gilded menuki portraying warriors. Tsuka with brown, silk lacing. Wooden saya, lacquered in brown, with rings. Kozuka-mei with silver blade, grip in shakudo with gilded ideograms and a fine, bronze, gilded face in relief. length 60,5 cm.

Bronze or copper trigger-guard (one screw is missing), decorated in silver and nielloed. No ramrod. Solid gold parts. length 158.5 cm.

Bronze scabbard with remains of gilding, engraved on the front surface with a flag trophy and shields, hemmed with leaves on a dotted ground. Two lugs. length 21,7 cm.
