The company was specialized in artifacts and furniture meeting the demand for “Japonism” items so popular at the time. The Daï-Nippon company was also selling furniture adapted to European taste they imported from Asia through their many purchasing agents in Shanghai, Canton, Hong Kong in China and Yokohama, KobŽ and Nagasaki in Japan.
