The lot comprising one 19th century export famille rose tea cup depicting bouquets of flowers, the interior decorated with fuchsia and gilt foliage on the rim, presented with wooden stand; a vintage export tea cup, depicting butterfly scroll on the body, matching butterfly scroll with gold paint on rim, presented with wooden stand; a jade lotus shape brush washer / dish, and one bronze leaf-shape dish. A Chinese Qianlong mark ceramic twin handled tripod censer. The censer decorated in bronze glaze with gold and turquoise splash with a dragon finial. The exterior decorated with gilt relief waves raised on three short legs. The censer having Qianlong seal mark to the base. Measures approx. 6.5cm tall, 8.5cm diameter. 乾隆款仿古铜釉熏炉
A Qing dynasty wooden storage chest. The chest carved with a scene of a rabbit in a garden on the arched lid, floral and detailed landscaped. Opening to reveal a void interior, with hinged lock plate flanked on either side by twin bronze loop carrying handles. No key. Measures approx. 72cm long x 40cm tall x 36cm deep. Provenance: from a private Somerset collection.
Pendulum clock - Charles X period pendulum clock, adorned with finely carved bronze capitals, round sheet metal dial numbered. Bronze pendulum and wooden case entirely inlaid with floral motif. Rosewood with small signs of lived experience. Mechanics to be revised. Dimensions: Height 52.5, Width 26, Depth 14.
A PAIR OF FRENCH EMPIRE DESIGN EARLY 20TH CENTURY GILT AND BRONZE FOUR-LIGHT CANDELABRA IN THE MANNER OF PIERRE PHILIPPE THOMIRE (FRENCH 1751-1843) Each with a winged female figure allegorical of Victory, standing on a dome an holding aloft four cornucopiae with candleholders, with column support and stepped base. 70cm H each. Condition report: Overall good, except one candelabra has previously had one cornucopiae detached. It sits on okay, but is fairly loose, and requires reattaching.
