A Neuchatel-style wall mounted clock, the case having simulated gold leaf finish with hand-painted floral decoration, cast brass dial with engraved scrollwork and signed Eluxa, Roman numerals on applied enamel cartouches, opening glazed door with cast brass surround, the whole standing on cast brass scroll-work feet and designed to either stand on a table or on the matching wall bracket, 8-day movement, ting-tang striking on two bells at the hour and half-past, bronze finish hands, with original decorative cast key. 58cm tall on the bracket, clock 43cm tall. Note: Eluxa is a Swiss company devoted entirely to manufacturing high-quality clocks. This is the Louis XVI model currently retailing at 2400 Swiss Francs/ £1600. Estimate £180 to £220
