An early 20th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty Cloisonné bronze enamel censer prayer bowl of squat form. The bowl having a white ground with scrolled clouds throughout and central depiction of a five toed dragon and central flaming pearl. The exterior of the bowl further decorated with two dragons chasing another flaming pearl. The rim and bases being gilded bronze. In good condition. Measures approx; 6cm x 20cm.

JOSEF LORENZL (Austria, 1892 - 1950) - a fine Art Deco rose-tinted mirror-backed clock. The 15 cm circular dial with white-metal Arabic numeral chapter ring, and signed ARMSTRONG - MANCHESTER lower centre. The cloud-form mirror mounted on an oval walnut base surmounted with a gilt-bronze nude female figure, signed to the base 'Lorenzl'. The base raised on two bronze step-feet. (The clock 30 x 30 cm and the figure 21 cm high). (A/F clock face with 2 cm crack running upwards from the barrel. Clock not running).
A Japanese katana (long sword): quatrefoil-shaped cast silvered brass or bronze tsuba decorated in relief with a water dragon, the scaly body creating 'ripples'; the tsuka (handle) with tsuka ito (cord wrap) around same (ray skin); the patinated brass kashira (pommel) decorated in relief with prunus blossom; the 67cm blade locating into a red lacquerware wooden scabbard which locates further into a brown-stitched leather scabbard with brass obitori. Outer leather scabbard stained and wear a leather ring (A/F) commensurate with age and use.3. Inner red scabbard with cover detached 3 cms, scuffs and rubbing and a rectangular section missing (see images).4. Tsuba loose and patinated otherwise good.5. Blade with very minor pitting and corrosion commensurate with age and use.
