Each baluster form cast with a beaded band over a petal form band, applied leafy handles, the wide classical figural Bacchnalian frieze over a wide petal form band, the socle base with rais de coeur collar foot. After the Attic Krater Circa 40-30 B.C., now in the Louvre. Height 13 3/4 inches (9.5 cm).

The rectangular hood with an arched molded cornice with a rosette raised on gilt mounted columns enclosing an arched door, the trunk with arched panel molded door raised on an outstepped bombe base, centering a gilt metal lenticle, the 14 1/2 inch arched brass dial and chapter ring having Roman hours and Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds with sun and moon aperture, month and day aperture, raised on claw feet, surmounted by two pairs of gilt and cobalt carved wood figures of celestial trumpeters and figures holding up globes.
