ARCHIE FORREST RGI (B 1950) Emilio Coia signed and numbered `4/9 FORREST` bronze with dark brown patina 40.6cm high Note: Emilio Coia was a flamboyant character. Born in Glasgow to Italian parents, he studied at the Glasgow School Of Art and became well known as a caricaturist, his work appearing in many magazines and newspapers. One of these series of busts has pride of place at the Glasgow Art Club where Emilio Coia was an Honorary member.
