The ball & baluster knopped stems and triform bases having canted corners and forming scroll terminals & shell protrusions above the square pad feet. 23½ ins (60 cms) in height.
A 17th/Early 18th Century Bronze Nest of Weights. The circular lid with a dog head handle and hinge. The tapering bucket form weight outer weight enriched with bands of punchwork including a scene with men & hounds hunting boar. Each weight stamped `COBLENZ` with punch-work eagles. 4¾ (12 cms) in height, 5 ins (13 cms) in width.
