A FINE QUALITY 19TH CENTURY SAMSON KANGXI STYLE FAMILLE VERTE DESK SET, the gilt bronze mounted rectangular porcelain plaque finely painted with panels of birds and foliage and supporting two fixed inkwells with good quality gilt bronze covers, the set accompanied by a famille verte figure of a reclining smoking Mandarin, the tray 13in x 7.25in & 5.25in high to top of inkwell finials, the porcelain figure 6in high.

CONDITION REPORT Gilt bronze - heavy wear to gilding.Garniture - one with crack to body running through painted panel of men planting tree, glue over topother garniture with small chip under finial running into hairline crack down left hand side of painted panel of horse feeding.
