A Ming dynasty Chinese bronze qilin form mirror stand, the recumbent mythical qilin or 'xiniu wang yue' cast in relief with its head turned back to gaze at the moon, a curved horn to the forehead and a stylised cloud on its back, hoof feet and ox like tail, further cloud form mirror supports to its back and haunches, mirror lacking, length 22cm, height 17cm, S/D.
