A FINE JAPANESE EDO / MEIJI PERIOD IRON KETTLE & COVER, the kettle with a bronze moulded handle of bamboo and birds, the body in ribbed hexagonal form with relief decoration depicting pine trees, with gilt / gold highlights, the base ith an impressed seal mark, the underside of the cover with an old museum label " musee chateaux bourgogne no 184 ", 22cm high x 18cm wide.
An important and fine Japanese gilt bronze twin handled vase by Momose Shigesato, Meiji period, 1868-1912, believed to have been made as an exhibition piece circa 1870, extended rim with hammered finish, dragon twin handles, the frieze with panels in high relief, one with a boy playing a flute, the other with a gentleman and bunches of branches in a landscape, the knop with a dragon, integral fretwork plinth on six wave scrolling feet and circular base with a geometric design in relief, seal signature, height 48cmProvenance: the private collection of G.S. May Esquire Condition: good overall
A dark brown and bronze boucle jacket with faux fur collar and cuffs. A man's gabardine over coat in light brown, light tan velvet collar. A Jager 1960/70s coat in mushroom coloured wool, braided frog fastenings with toggles, skirt of coat gathered into waistband with Peter Pan collar size 10/12. A pink and cream brocade house coat by Diamond Tea, 1960s. (4)

A patinated spelter figure group allegorical of Autumn, circa 1900, modelled as a neoclassical man in flowing robes, representing Autumn, supporting the flagging female figure of Summer, 40cm high.Footnote: Footnote: The pose of these two figures bears a striking resemblance to a bronze group by Henri Etienne Dumage (1830-1888), representing Autumn, companion piece to one representing Spring and Summer.Condition report: Good overall with minor signs if age. Surface patina is a little rough.
A pair of contemporary four-branch candelabra, in a bronze finish, 53.5cm high, together with a wrought iron champagne stand with steel bucket, 74cm high. (3)Footnote: Provenance: The contents of Castell Gyrn, Ruthin, North Wales.Condition report: Candelabra: both good with only negligible signs of use.Champagne stand: minor signs of use. Stainless bucket appears to be associated but fits well. Stand handles appear to be lacking rings.
A bronze, wrought iron and marble table lamp, contemporary, worked as acanthus leaves above a beaded domed base, 55cm high, together with a further pair of lamps of Corinthian column form and bronze effect finish, 35cm high, all with shades.
