Bronze-Schiffsglocke der MS Altenbruch, 1927Original, Gewicht ca. 20 kg, Höhe 38 cm, Ø 37 cm, sehr guter voller Klang. - Die MS Altenbruch wurde 1927 auf der Norderwerft in Hamburg als Lotsenschiff gebaut und 1939 der Kriegsmarine unterstellt. Umgebaut zum Minensuchschiff lief es 1945 auf eine Mine und sank innerhalb weniger Minuten, erst 1954 gelang es, das Schiff in den Hamburger Hafen zu schleppen und abzuwracken. Hierbei wurde die Glocke geborgen. Start Price: EUR 280 Zustand: (2-3/2)Original Bronze Ship's Bell of the MS Altenbruch, 1927Weight approx. 20 kg, height 15 in., Ø 14 ½ in., very good full sound. - Note: The MS Altenbruch was built in 1927 at the Norderwerft shipyard in Hamburg as a pilot ship and was assigned to the Kriegsmarine in 1939. Converted into a minesweeper, it hit a mine in 1945 and sank within a few minutes. In 1954 the ship was towed into Hamburg harbor and broken up. The bell was salvaged in the process.
