A Japanese bronze formed as a pair of tigers attacking an elephant on carved wooden base, signed underside of elephant, length 35cm, height 21.5cm. CONDITION REPORT - very good, no major damage/repair, general wear only to include minor marks and scratches. There is an imperfection to the eye socket of the tiger on top. Appears as a small hole.
A 19th century French bronze match box, tapered rectangular form with hinged cover and stepped outset feet, the lid and sides with formal floral and foliate decoration, striker inside lid, 3¾ x 2¾in. (9.5 x 7cm.); together with a small 19th century French plated copper and gilt casket, with relief decoration of village scenes and buttoned purple silk lining, 4¾ x 3¼in. (12 x 8.25cm.). (2)
A fine 19th century French champlevé enamel mantle clock, concave 65mm. gilt bronze circular dial with eight day striked movement, Arabic numeral chapter markers bearing centralised polychrome enamel roundel, with blue steel hands beneath a circular bevelled glazed door, champlevé enamels decorate the exteriors, held in a case of Persian architectural design, the roof with four corner disc and knop finials with centralised champlevé dome surmounted by disc and knop finial, stepped base with toupie supports, 12in. (30.5cm.) high.
A French gilt bronze clock garniture, circa 1900, Rococo style, drum form clock and movement housing encased by scroll and floral pierced decoration, dial with French style Roman numerals, on a circular gilt mask with raised design, eight day Jouffray movement, numbered 3319, 11in. (28cm.) high, with two twin branch candelabra of conforming design, 8in. (20.25cm.) high. (3)
Two Daniel de Montmollin studio stoneware pottery vases, both with impressed maker's mark, one of waisted cylindrical form with flared neck, in mottled iron red, dark brown and bronze drip glaze, 9¾in. (24.75cm.) high, the other plain cylindrical form, with similar glaze, 7¼in. (18.5cm.) high. (2)
A Chinese bronze Ho-Ho twins figure, representing the figures He and Ho, modelled as one above the other in opposing direction, on green rectangular marble plinth, 4½ x 2¾in. (14 x 6.7cm.).* Condition: Attached to a marble base - an old screw fixing which is screwed into one of the feet of the figure. Some glue to edges of screw to underside to keep secure. Bronze figure has a good patina. Old polishing with some polish residue in places. No damage - minor dings and marks to surface as one would expect.
A Nepalese bronze figure of Ardhanarishvara, depicted in unusual eight armed manifestation with each hand grasping a symbolic trinket, on oval wooden plinth, 10½in. (26.7cm.) high.* Provenance: Purchased at auction in London in the 1970s-80s - lot includes cutting from the London auction catalogue featuring the lot.
An unusual Chinese shallow cylindrical bronze vessel, 18th century or earlier, the everted rim signed with four character mark and further calligraphy, the straight sides with three simple pierced handles, the base turned with double concentric lines and disc to centre, 5in. (12.75cm.) diameter. * Provenance: 'The Beasley Collection' (Henry Geoffrey Beasley, 1882-1939). By family descent to the grand daughters.* Condition: Condition good overall. Has been polished at some stage many years ago, but retains a good patina. Minor dings and marks to surface in places from use. Interior well has a few patches of light corrosion to surface - see photos. No splits or repairs.

The fluted tapered columns surmounted by acanthus and lotus cast sconces, now with electrical fittings, on anthemion decorated triform bases with hipped legs and lion's paw feet, on Sienna marble bases, with various Elkington & Co marks to the legs, converted from candlesticks, 37cm high, excluding fitting.
