A pair of Japanese Meiji period patinated bronze vases with squat bulbous bodies and slender necks with flared rims, unmarked, height 20.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Minor areas of rubbing, particularly to the raised parts/edges, also some small areas of dints/dents particularly to the edges of the bases, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
A pair of Japanese Meiji period patinated bronze opposing vases, each engraved and polychromed with a phoenix perched on a blossoming branch, unmarked, height 18cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some areas of rubbing to the patina particularly to the upper section of one of the vases, also odd areas of small dints and scratches, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
An early 19th century Chinese cloisonné enamel decorated bowl of squat bulbous form decorated with flower heads and foliate scrolls on turquoise ground, raised on double lotus gilt bronze base bearing a Qianlong four character mark to base, flanked by two lozenge decorated circular apertures, total height 7.5cm, diameter 8cm. CONDITION REPORT: Good condition. Stand is attached.

The bronze ship's bell from the Alice Marie, Nantes 1902, height 30cm, On October 4th, 1908, the French steel bark Alice Marie, 85m long and 2.181 grt. sank after hitting the Runnel stones in thick fog. She nearly made it to safety in shallow waters near St Michael's Mount, but sank before running aground. The wreck was heavily salvaged in the mid 1980s.
A fine Regency rosewood veneered and crossbanded small writing table, at the back, an open recess for books, above this, a shelf, crossbanded and with gilt bronze pierced 3/4 gallery, the top folds open to reveal a velvet writing surface, beneath it, a single drawer with compartments including a concealed inkwell drawer, the whole stands on four ring turned tapering legs with brass casters, gilt bronze floral cast mounts, width 60.5cm., height 96.5cm.
