TWO CLASSICAL STYLE TABLE LAMPS. Bronze caryatids with exceptional detail on white marble bases. Both are marked L.V.E. Robert Sct., Vittoz bronzier. Originally made as candelabra, each figure balances an urn of assorted flowers on her head. Minor marble flakes, one figure is loose. Electrified. 29h. plus lamp parts.
STATUE OF A WOMAN AFTER MOREAU. Full-length alabaster statue after the bronze 'Aurore' (Aurora, the Roman goddess of dawn) by Auguste Moreau (French, 1834-1917). Well done with a gold painted metal crescent held in her hands. A bronze plaque on the base identifies the subject and artist. Repaired thumb. 31 1/2h. overall.
