After Isidore Jules Bonheur, a large bronze sculpture of a racehorse and jockey, naturalistically cast in motion on a rectangular shaped base marked I. Bonheur, 93cm high and 110cm long This is probably a late 19th Century piece, but appears to be relatively well cast. Overall in good condition
A Tiffany bronze lamp base, with circular spreading foot supporting stem and open area for pendant shade, marked "Tiffany Studios New York " and numbered 424, 38cm high Not the original light fitting or plug. Also the grub screw are a little worn, the little one looks to have been replaced, marks to the stem.
Colliery interest - a silver NCB Miners Rescue Service medal for ten years, Pooley Hall, West Midlands Div, 1950; another, for fifteen years service, North Warwick; a WWII National Vegetable Society enamel medal; a bronze Home Gardener medal; a silver St John`s Ambulance medal, and others with date bars 1940`s - 60`s; etc.
Horology - Two watchmakers Jacot pivoting tools. Unsigned, late 19th century. One with bronze frame with tongue for vice mounting, integral poppets for the grooved pivot polishing runner and opposing collet with screw depth adjustment, in original red tooled leather case inscribed "Tour a pivoter a vis de rappel qualité superieure"; another similar, brass frame, original black leather box inscribed "Tour Jacot" (2)
Mostly military badges and uniform buttons, including cap badges; Royal Military Academy and Tank Corps, three Officer's collar badges of The Lincolnshire Regiment, five Officer's bronze collar badges of The Tank Corps, medal ribbons, uniform buttons, mostly detailed RTC, Officer's crowns and pips in metal and cloth, mess buttons detailed Egypt and sundry.
A French patinated bronze model of a fisher boy, early 20th century, cast after A. Joliveau, standing and wearing a broad brimmed hat, his rod held under his arm, the naturalistically cast base inscribed `The Angler`, signed in the maquette and `Art Union of London 1909`, the boy 24cm high, 36.5cm high overall.
