An early 20th century cold painted bronze of a lizard, in the manner of Franz Bergman, naturalistically modelled with its head held high, 19cm wide CR - Some toes are bent especially to the rear back foot which has several toes overlapping now. Colour is good and shows some light wear to the cold painting.
20th century elm coffee table designed and made by Tim Stead, characteristically this Scottish piece of furniture made with naturalistic slabs of burr timber engrained with bronze paste, length 123cm (48"), width 69cm (27"), height 39cm (15"). Condition report: A section of the table top is suffering with live woodworm, although this could be treated without detriment to the table.
