Two speculative Russian painted bronze figures, inscribed "Faberge" and dated 1912, height 7". Accompanying these figures is a copy of an entry from a Sotheby's sale catalogue showing two identical figures, and further printed information speculating on the origin of these figures, which appear to be copies of or models for the well known Faberge hard stone figures of the Kamer Kazak Guards of the Russian Empresses. A circa 17th century Khmer Hindu bronze figure depicting the goddess Uma / Parvati, in Angkor Wat style. The goddess adorned with headdress & jewellery, holding hand out & wearing sari, with a flower stalk thrown across her shoulder. Standing on a square plinth base, slight loss to her right foot. Measures approx. 28cm tall.
