Two Victorian Silver Medals; A George V Silver Medal and Two Edward VII Bronze Medals, The First by Daniel George Collins, Birmingham, 1896, Supplied by Spiridion and Sons, The Second by Fattorini and Sons Ltd., Birmingham, 1918, Supplied by Wheatly, Abergavenny, circular the obverse with a shield chased with the Welsh dragon below a Prince-of-Wales feather and within the legend 'National Cyclists Union South Wales Centre', the reverse engraved with an inscription within laurel branches, one with suspension loop, 3.3cm diameter, weight of silver 1oz 15dwt (54.8gr.) (5) . There is overall some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use.

dating: first quarter of the 17th Century provenance: Amalfi, Bronze body with hemispherical base, smooth as the back part and with tapering front side, richly embossed with D'Ancona family coat-of-arms in high-relief in the center, held by two mythological figures, garlands and floral motifs; tapering, bronze fuse, slightly embossed, iron fuse spring, hinge and rivets. Small hook for the cover and bronze belt hook. Four suspension rings. Beautiful dark patina. height 24.5 cm.
dating: Early 19th Century provenance: Indopersia, Almost straight, single-edged blade, in finest damask, well contrasted, with slight fuller and reinforced 'T'-back, adorned with chiselled leaf with remains of gilding; walrus ivory grip, in one piece, with a brass plate at the end, heart-moulded and with a button, to which a brass loop is fixed. Wooden scabbard, covered with blue velvet; gilded, bronze chape and cap, both with border pierced with floral motifs; chape with bud-shaped cusp, cap with a dice with movable loop. length 41 cm.

All the elements in their conventional position. Complete with pendant in polychrome fabric with fringes. The Khatvanga (Tantric staff) is a religious symbol in Indian religions such as Shaivism and Vajrayana Buddhism. It represents the inseparable union of great bliss and emptiness, as ultimate bodhichitta. height 45 cm.
dating: 18th Century provenance: Portugal, Bronze, two-stage, 14 mm cal. barrel, octagonal and round, ribbed on the back, provided with rings at the girdle, with moulding at the breech and slightly bell-mouthed nozzle, provided with moulded muzzle. Engraved tang. Flintlock, flat, smooth plate, in working order, pan adorned with grooves. Wooden, full stock, richly silver-inlaid with spirals and flowers through all the surface. Silver mounts. Butt-plate with silver ring and back part inlaid en suite, with other decorations, silver muzzle ring engraved and carved in relief. Silver-tipped wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor, with floral decoration. A long, iron belt hook on the left side. length 26 cm.
dating: late 18th Century provenance: Tuscany, Two-stage, bronze, 12 mm cal. barrel, with rings and acanthus leaves engraved at the girdle, octagonal first segment, round second part; base with acanthus leaves as well. tang with engraved frames. Flintlock with flat plate, engraved with flowers and with a bird, cock with mask-shaped screw, chiselled and pierced, batterie with curls and flower engravings. Wooden, full stock (repair on the left side). Brass mounts. An engraved plate on the back, around the tang, moulded with flowers and a shield with a bust of a character in antique Roman cloths, muzzle ring with a grotesque mask, trigger-guard en suite with the rear escutcheon, butt-plate with iron bust in the center and frames engraved around it. Counter-plate pierced and engraved, provided with iron belt hook. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod. length 32,5 cm.
