Art Nouveau low relief plaque made with multi alloys by Leon Perzinka, sculptor and cast founder to Expressionist sculptor Auguste Rodin. On a silver color base, Perzinka sculpted a young woman in Classical garb sitting by a river across from a steepled church as she looks at a symbolic dove flying towards her side. Perzinka raised the surface of her dress that he incised deeply. Her face and arms have a beautiful bronze patina, and the ornamental foliage on the frame of the plaque are covered with various shades ranging from golds to browns.
