A late 19th century bronze mantel clock, retailed by Thomas Agnew & Sons, signed to the black dial, with twin winding holes for an eight day brass cylinder movement, the naturalistic case surmounted with allegorical scene of a man taming a wild horse, the whole raised upon a sienna marble base to further bronze plinth, h.54cmAll bronze good, some light patina wear only.Marble plinth with some very minor chips to angles.Movement is heavily tarnished and unpolished.With pendulum and bell.
