Pierre le Faguays, Messenger of Love, circa 1925,a large Art Deco patinated bronze sculpture, underside of the foot stamped 'BRONZE', raised on a black marble tapering base, base signed 'Le Faguays',78cm high.Condition report:The bronze aspect is in very good original condition with no scratches, dents, or distortions. The casting and patination are particularly fine. There is a slight blemish to the back of the left shoulder. The finish to the bird is a little worn. The hair colouring is very subtle and detailed. There is a slight shallow chip or two to the baseline of the plinth, otherwise, the plinth base is in good condition. The signature is faintly signed, but still legible.

Posthume, neuzeitliche Reduktions- / Museums-Kopie nach der ersten lebensgroßen Skulptur des Hauptmeisters der französischen Plastik des 19. Jahrhunderts, die 1875/76 entstand. Auf der Plinthe datiert 1876 und vertieft bezeichnet "Rodin". H. 91,5 cm.

ALTENSTEIN, BERND (geb. 1943 in Schlossberg / Ostpreußen), Skulptur: "Figurengruppe", wohl Variation der Skulpturenserie "Ausbruch" von 1982, Bronze, braun patiniert mit grünen Akzentuierungen. Unter dem Stand in Kreisform und Ligatur monogrammiert "AB" und nummeriert (62 65). Der figürliche Bildhauer Altenstein studierte an der Akademie in Stuttgart, war wissenschaftlicher Assistent an der TU Braunschweig und von 1975 bis 2009 Professor an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen. nach DALI, SALVADOR (1904-1889), Skulptur: Éléphant Spatial", Bronze, grün patiniert und partiell goldfarben akzentuiert. Stilisiert gearbeiteter Elefant mit aufgestellten Ohren, erhobenem Rüssel und auf gelängten Beinen. Der "Elephant Spatial" wurde ursprünglich von Dali als Motiv für das Gemälde von 1946 "Die Versuchung des Heiligen Antonius" entwickelt. Der in der Folge immer wieder thematisierte Elefant mit seinen langen Spindelbeinen galt dem Künstler als mystisches Wesen mit symbolischer Stellung zwischen Himmel und Erde. Unsignierter neuzeitlicher Guss. H. 50 x L. 56 x B. 16 cm.
